I keep running into pieces that I love, but have no use for. I went to Big Lots hoping to find a cheap lamp or two, but instead I left with a six pack of Bounty select-a-size paper towels for $6.50...not as great as a lamp, but still pretty good.

I love Big Lots! Not just because I worked in their corporate office for 10 years and found it to be a wonderful company, but also because of all the bargains!!! That little blue table is CUTE! I went there last week with my Buzz Club 20% off rewards and went a little crazy stocking up on essentials!

Hi there - I just found your blog and noticed, like me, you make the trek to Ikea from Raleigh to Charlotte. :) I just moved to Raleigh from CO and that was where we went 2 days after getting here! So, do you have any good places you like to go to around the area? Thrift stores? Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated :)
